Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with Refonte Infini, and it's pretty concerning. I came across a job post on LinkedIn for an "AI & Data Science Intern" position. The company presented itself as a top IT corporation with global recognition, based in the UK and France. However, upon further investigation, I discovered most of their servers are actually located in Ghana Africa, which raised a big red flag for me right away.
The job description sounded like a dream for someone passionate about AI and data science. It outlined all these cool tech opportunities and benefits, so of course, I applied.
Here's where it gets shady. After I applied, I received a super friendly email from someone named Mr. Yvan NGOYI from Refonte Infini, congratulating me on my application and promising to get back to me within 24 hours. But surprise, surprise—no follow-up on my application status. Instead, I started getting emails inviting me to join their "program." And get this—the program costs $1000! They even had the nerve to offer me a $300 discount, like I should be jumping for joy at only paying $700.
Feeling suspicious, I did some digging online and found click here out I'm not the only one. There are others who fell into the same trap. It seems like Refonte Infini has this whole scheme going on where they lure you in with promising job ads and then push these pricey courses that seem totally sketchy.
Honestly, after this experience, I'd advise everyone to be cautious. It's disappointing that companies like Refonte Infini can get away with this on platforms like LinkedIn. Let's all be careful out there and not let ourselves get caught up in these kinds of schemes
